The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Theodosis Karagiannidis put in a rough tackle. With his leg Gerasimos Michelakis managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Polydeukis FC's Kostas Staboulidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Minas Kokolakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerasimos Michelakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Kostas Staboulidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panos Orfaniotis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Staboulidis to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Polydeukis FC's Kostas Staboulidis made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerasimos Michelakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 4-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Kostas Staboulidis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Kostas Staboulidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC's Gerasimos Michelakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Tsaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Andreas Skrekis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerasimos Michelakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Staboulidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kostas Staboulidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Staboulidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Christos Kokkolakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC and the Polydeukis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Kokkolakis. When the referee ended the match the Polydeukis FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
