In the 17th minute Stelios Kalantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Simitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s Alkaios Moisidis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Arkadis in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Pelidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alkaios Moisidis hit a great ball. Fanis Koutsoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fanis Koutsoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evaggelos Stoltidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Pelidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaggelos Stoltidis ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Evaggelos Stoltidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godhιna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaggelos Stoltidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Pelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Arkadis in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Pelidis saved ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Stelios Kalantas made the kick off in the second half. When Charis Karidas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Godhιna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Karidas couldn't finish the play. Kostas Pelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Arkadis in the 61st minute of play. When Alkaios Moisidis fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s protests and gave Alkaios Moisidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Alkaios Moisidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaggelos Stoltidis struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kostas Pelidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godhιna FC. Kostas Pelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Arkadis in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Stelios Kalantas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Godhιna FC's zone, Alkaios Moisidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markos Simitis came out of the goal and Alkaios Moisidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
