Vrasidas Kastigios came out of the goal and Evaggelos Stoltidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AN.ARTAS's Vrasidas Kastigios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaggelos Stoltidis in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Godhιna FC's zone, Dimitris Christou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markos Simitis came out of the goal and Dimitris Christou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Nikos Arkadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godhιna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Arkadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vrasidas Kastigios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pavlos Kefallinos charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavlos Kefallinos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Godhιna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlos Kefallinos to maneuver through the defense. When Dimitris Christou came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the AN.ARTAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Christou couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, AN.ARTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Lazanas to maneuver through the defense. Vrasidas Kastigios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikos Arkadis went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vrasidas Kastigios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Arkadis in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Alekos Koutsokefalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AN.ARTAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alekos Koutsokefalakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alekos Koutsokefalakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Markos Simitis made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikos Arkadis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alekos Koutsokefalakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AN.ARTAS's Alekos Koutsokefalakis got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaggelos Stoltidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vrasidas Kastigios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaggelos Stoltidis ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 66 in the game by Evaggelos Stoltidis from a close distance when the talented Vrasidas Kastigios managed to make a qualified save. AN.ARTAS's players were relieved. Vrasidas Kastigios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Arkadis in the 67th minute of the match. Godhιna FC's Vaggelis Chloros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AN.ARTAS. Alekos Koutsokefalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Markos Simitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekos Koutsokefalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AN.ARTAS's Nikos Lazanas got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Nikos Lazanas off the ground. Nikos Lazanas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Evaggelos Stoltidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Vrasidas Kastigios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
