Markos Simitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stratzalis in the 20th minute of play. Evaggelos Stoltidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Chatzikostas having to interfere. GALISSAS FC's Christos Chatzikostas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Arkadis in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, GALISSAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Arkadis came free, but Christos Chatzikostas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaios Spanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christos Chatzikostas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vassilis Stratigakis. Markos Simitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaios Spanidis in the 44th minute of the match. If Evaggelos Stoltidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaios Spanidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Vaios Spanidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markos Simitis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Nikos Stratzalis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markos Simitis having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Godhιna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Spanidis came free, but Markos Simitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GALISSAS FC's Vaios Spanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
