The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stelios Kalantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Valentinos Tsalavoutas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Stelios Kalantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kostas Pelidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Tzoumaris in the 17th minute of play. Stelios Konstantopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Valentinos Tsalavoutas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Pelidis came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rayαn BC's Petros Tzoumaris. But to his dismay, Petros Tzoumaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stratos Papadimidis's late challenge caught a ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stratos Papadimidis helped the player get up and apologised. Stratos Papadimidis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Stelios Konstantopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valentinos Tsalavoutas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Petros Tzoumaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayαn BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Petros Tzoumaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Pelidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charis Tsaliagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Pelidis having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.! The referee gave Rayαn BC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petros Karousakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s Kostas Pelidis. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stelios Konstantopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Kostas Pelidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charis Tsaliagos went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 66thth minute of the game Stelios Konstantopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayαn BC's Valentinos Tsalavoutas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Stelios Konstantopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelios Konstantopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ΜΙΜΗΣ Π.Α. booed when Rayαn BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Tzoumaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Manos Kavouropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelios Konstantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stelios Konstantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rayαn BC's Apostolikas Sinis got a free kick in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Stelios Konstantopoulos notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Rayαn BC's Valentinos Tsalavoutas. Valentinos Tsalavoutas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
