The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Perperidis was the one to do the kick off. Gerasimos Michelakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Koutsokefalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Alekos Koutsokefalakis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gerasimos Michelakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AN.ARTAS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Christou in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerasimos Michelakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alekos Koutsokefalakis in the 70th minute of play forced TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC's goalkeeper Gerasimos Michelakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alekos Koutsokefalakis in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerasimos Michelakis saved TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC from getting behind. In the 72nd minute of the game, Nikos Lazanas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Christos Kakoglou charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Kakoglou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vrasidas Kastigios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Vrasidas Kastigios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandros Perperidis's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TOPMUG - PALAMAS FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
