Thomas Koutsoures sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miltos Kalopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Markos Simitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Thomas Koutsoures left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Johny F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Markos Simitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Kalopoulos in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Godhιna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Kalopoulos came free, but Markos Simitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Charis Karidas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godhιna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Johny F.C. the free kick. Charis Karidas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Miltos Kalopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Simitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godhιna FC's Markos Simitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Koutsoures in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Godhιna FC defense, Thomas Koutsoures kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markos Simitis. The Godhιna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markos Simitis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Godhιna FC's zone, Thomas Koutsoures stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markos Simitis came out of the goal and Thomas Koutsoures tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Charis Karidas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Arkadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alexandros Konidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Katrakis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thomas Koutsoures struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Markos Simitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Johny F.C.. Godhιna FC's Markos Simitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Koutsoures in the 93rd minute of play. If Koulis Pantelopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markos Simitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Koutsoures, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
