Charis Tsaliagos might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markos Simitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charis Tsaliagos ran back to his position shaking his head. Markos Simitis made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Charis Tsaliagos sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 20 in the game by Charis Tsaliagos from a close distance when the talented Markos Simitis managed to make a qualified save. Godhιna FC's players were relieved. Markos Simitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Tzoumaris in the 22nd minute of the match. Godhιna FC's Evaggelos Stoltidis got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Godhιna FC's Iason Bosinakos got a free kick in the 26th minute. Markos Simitis was a little too slow when Petros Tzoumaris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Valentinos Tsalavoutas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Arkadis in the 32nd minute of play. Rayαn BC's Valentinos Tsalavoutas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaggelos Stoltidis in the 34th minute of play. Evaggelos Stoltidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Valentinos Tsalavoutas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Stratos Papadimidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayαn BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Godhιna FC the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Rayαn BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Papadimidis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Charis Tsaliagos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayαn BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Charis Tsaliagos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markos Simitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Apostolikas Sinis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayαn BC's protests and gave Apostolikas Sinis a yellow card for diving instead. Apostolikas Sinis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Nikos Arkadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentinos Tsalavoutas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Valentinos Tsalavoutas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Themos Goumas fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayαn BC's protests and gave Themos Goumas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Themos Goumas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Nikos Arkadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentinos Tsalavoutas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Godhιna FC booed when Rayαn BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolikas Sinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Arkadis in the 79th minute of play forced Rayαn BC's goalkeeper Valentinos Tsalavoutas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
