Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Apostolikas Stelidis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 6th minute, Nasos Ramfos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionysis Papafanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miltos Stroggilos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Prodromos Kaklamanakis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ROMANOS's Apostolikas Stelidis. But to his dismay, Apostolikas Stelidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 15 played minutes ROMANOS got a freekick which was hit by Apostolikas Stelidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christodoulos Valassopoulos in the 20th minute of play forced ROMANOS's goalkeeper Miltos Stroggilos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prodromos Kaklamanakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Stafidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Prodromos Kaklamanakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Karageorgiou in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ROMANOS defense, Dionysis Papafanopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miltos Stroggilos. The ROMANOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miltos Stroggilos should have stopped the shot. Christodoulos Valassopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When Paris Mitras came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ROMANOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paris Mitras couldn't finish the play. If Apostolikas Stelidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Zacharias Stafidas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prodromos Kaklamanakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Paris Mitras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Drowning Pool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolikas Stelidis came free, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prodromos Kaklamanakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Karageorgiou in the 74th minute of play. Prodromos Kaklamanakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Karageorgiou in the 76th minute of the match. ROMANOS's Paris Mitras got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, ROMANOS's Miltos Stroggilos got control of the ball when Dionysis Papafanopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Drowning Pool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Anagnostakis to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, ROMANOS's Menios Vlastos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prodromos Kaklamanakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ROMANOS reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christodoulos Valassopoulos in the 90th minute of play forced ROMANOS's goalkeeper Miltos Stroggilos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prodromos Kaklamanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakis Karageorgiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Apostolikas Stelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ROMANOS's zone, Christodoulos Valassopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Stroggilos came out of the goal and Christodoulos Valassopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
