Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vaggelis Limnios took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dimitris Sarafis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Tzekos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Michalis Tzekos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Sarafis having to interfere. After 12 played minutes, Chelsea's Theagenis Zacharenios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitris Sarafis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea reached it. After 14 minutes of play, Chelsea's Vaggelis Limnios made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Sarafis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Petaloudas came free, but Thodoris Vamvakeris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fokas Kakkos managed to get in a good position for a shot. NERAXHURI's supporters rose to their feet, but Fokas Kakkos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thodoris Vamvakeris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Chatziantoniou Veniamin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fokas Kakkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thodoris Vamvakeris made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, NERAXHURI's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Tzekos came free, but Dimitris Sarafis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Vaggelis Limnios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Sarafis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Sarafis came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea's Vaggelis Limnios. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Limnios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Giorgos Sakkas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikos Skebis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dimitris Sarafis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Limnios in the 41st minute of play. Fokas Kakkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fokas Kakkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marios Petaloudas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koulis Prichtis to maneuver through the defense. When Nikos Sardelis fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave Nikos Sardelis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chelsea getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nikos Sardelis hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea's goalkeeper Thodoris Vamvakeris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, NERAXHURI's goalkeeper Dimitris Sarafis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michalis Tzekos. Thodoris Vamvakeris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fokas Kakkos in the 64th minute of play. Dimitris Sarafis was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Vaggelis Limnios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vaggelis Limnios really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Michalis Tzekos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michalis Tzekos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dimitris Sarafis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Tzekos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitris Sarafis having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, NERAXHURI's goalkeeper Dimitris Sarafis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michalis Tzekos. In the 89th minute, Vaggelis Limnios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Fokas Kakkos notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chelsea's Thodoris Vamvakeris. Thodoris Vamvakeris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fokas Kakkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Vamvakeris having to interfere. The Chelsea supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chelsea would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
