Dionysis Papafanopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dionysis Papafanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Charalambos Agritis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 44th minute of the match, Leonidas Dedes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christodoulos Valassopoulos to make the kick off. Marios Saravakos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prodromos Kaklamanakis. Prodromos Kaklamanakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Drowning Pool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Agritis came free, but Prodromos Kaklamanakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Drowning Pool FC defense, Charalambos Agritis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prodromos Kaklamanakis. The Drowning Pool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prodromos Kaklamanakis should have stopped the shot.
