Spectators: 6868 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zacharias Tsartas got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Apostolikas Stelidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakis Kalabalikis was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Genésio BC's zone, Apostolikas Stelidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Kalabalikis came out of the goal and Apostolikas Stelidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miltos Stroggilos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Tsartas in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolikas Stelidis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Kalabalikis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakis Kalabalikis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Karageorgiou in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to ROMANOS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anthimos Naskos hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Zacharias Tsartas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Apostolikas Stelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Kalabalikis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolikas Stelidis in the 29th minute of play forced Genésio BC's goalkeeper Sakis Kalabalikis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spyros Tachtatzis charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Spyros Tachtatzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Theodosis Iakovakis's late challenge caught a Genésio BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theodosis Iakovakis helped the player get up and apologised. Theodosis Iakovakis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, ROMANOS's Apostolikas Stelidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakis Kalabalikis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sakis Kalabalikis came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ROMANOS's Sakis Karageorgiou. But to his dismay, Sakis Karageorgiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sakis Karageorgiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Zacharias Stafidas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Kalabalikis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakis Kalabalikis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paris Mitras in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Zacharias Tsartas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ROMANOS's Apostolikas Stelidis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Zacharias Tsartas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, ROMANOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodosis Iakovakis to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Sakis Kalabalikis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Genésio BC's Sakis Kalabalikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Karageorgiou in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Giorgos Zamanopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thrasivoulos Vezirgiannidis's late challenge caught a ROMANOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thrasivoulos Vezirgiannidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Genésio BC! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, ROMANOS's Theodosis Iakovakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sakis Kalabalikis. In the 84th minute, Zacharias Tsartas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miltos Stroggilos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Sakis Karageorgiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Sakis Karageorgiou took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sakis Kalabalikis to make any attempt to save it. Miltos Stroggilos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Tsartas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. ROMANOS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
