After a defensive mix-up in NINAGIO FC's zone, Kostas Perdikouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanos Kourkouvelas came out of the goal and Kostas Perdikouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Kostas Pavlakos managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when NINAGIO FC's Kosmas Vakoufaris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Perivolakis in the 86th minute of play forced A.E. KANALIWN's goalkeeper Kostas Pavlakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Kostas Perdikouris notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of NINAGIO FC's Thanos Kourkouvelas.
