Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) KdWolfs's Vassilis Platakidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Argyris Stamatakis fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KdWolfs's protests and gave Argyris Stamatakis a yellow card for diving instead. 3 minutes into the game, one of KdWolfs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Elimbos FC's Vassilis Evaggelliou got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tasos Spetsarias. After a defensive mix-up in KdWolfs's zone, Evaggelos Papanagiotou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tasos Spetsarias came out of the goal and Evaggelos Papanagiotou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manos Mastrantoniou during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manos Mastrantoniou kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaggelos Papanagiotou in the 15th minute of play forced KdWolfs's goalkeeper Tasos Spetsarias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Evaggelos Papanagiotou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lambros Kalikis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tasos Spetsarias made a huge save. Themistoklis Tirovouniotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Giorgos Kesanopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Kesanopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Platakidis in the 30th minute of play. Tasos Spetsarias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lambros Kalikis in the 32nd minute. Evaggelos Papanagiotou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasos Spetsarias having to interfere. In the 36th minute Evaggelos Papanagiotou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Spetsarias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When KdWolfs's Vassilis Platakidis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elimbos FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Vassilis Platakidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Giorgos Kesanopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Themistoklis Tirovouniotis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the KdWolfs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themistoklis Tirovouniotis couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Lambros Kalikis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tasos Spetsarias. KdWolfs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lambros Kalikis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Panos Liberiou's late challenge caught a Elimbos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Liberiou helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Elimbos FC booed when KdWolfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Liberiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Elimbos FC's Evaggelos Papanagiotou made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tasos Spetsarias was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, KdWolfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Manolakos to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lambros Kalikis in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tasos Spetsarias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Themistoklis Tirovouniotis struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Giorgos Kesanopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KdWolfs. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elimbos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while KdWolfs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
