Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Elimbos FC's Evaggelos Papanagiotou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Giannis Xenidis fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elimbos FC's protests and gave Giannis Xenidis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elimbos FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Giannis Xenidis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Themistoklis Daniilidis during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kámpos's Themistoklis Daniilidis got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Elimbos FC booed when Kámpos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themistoklis Daniilidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lambros Kalikis got free with Leonidas Sakoulidis in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lambros Kalikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leonidas Sakoulidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Elimbos FC's Loukas Vezirgiannis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Giorgos Kesanopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefanos Tsirigakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Stefanos Tsirigakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Giorgos Kesanopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Stefanos Tsirigakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kámpos's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefanos Tsirigakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kesanopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefanos Tsirigakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Kámpos's Lazaros Orfaniotis tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Giorgos Poursanidis took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Kesanopoulos. Giorgos Kesanopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Elimbos FC's Giorgos Kesanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Poursanidis in the 55th minute of play. Stefanos Tsirigakis took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Kesanopoulos. Giorgos Kesanopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Elimbos FC's Giannis Xenidis pulled a muscle in his leg after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renos Zacharoulis during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Kámpos got a freekick which was hit by Renos Zacharoulis. After having played for 65 minutes, Lambros Kalikis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elimbos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lambros Kalikis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Kámpos getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Themistoklis Daniilidis hit a great ball. Leonidas Sakoulidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lambros Kalikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Kámpos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Kouvarakis to maneuver through the defense. Lambros Kalikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Elimbos FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Kesanopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefanos Tsirigakis. Giorgos Poursanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgos Kesanopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgos Poursanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Lambros Kalikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Sakoulidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Elimbos FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Baltas. After having played for 95 minutes, Lazaros Orfaniotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kámpos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazaros Orfaniotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
