Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Spyros Kezdoglou took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Takis Kopelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgos Kesanopoulos made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dimitris Katsiabis sent off a good shot on target. In the 14thth minute of the game Evaggelos Papanagiotou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mpizelokastritsa FC's Takis Asimis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Elimbos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Kezdoglou came free, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Loukas Vezirgiannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Mpizelokastritsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Kalikis came free, but Takis Asimis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Evaggelos Papanagiotou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Takis Asimis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 29th minute, Evaggelos Papanagiotou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Evaggelos Papanagiotou made a precise shot to the right of Takis Asimis. Mpizelokastritsa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Takis Asimis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lambros Kalikis's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaggelos Papanagiotou made a kick off. Takis Asimis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaggelos Papanagiotou in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Elimbos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Evaggelliou to maneuver through the defense. Takis Asimis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukas Vezirgiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Dimitris Katsiabis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spyros Kezdoglou in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giorgos Kesanopoulos saved Elimbos FC from getting behind. In the 64th minute Spyros Kezdoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lambros Kalikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Mpizelokastritsa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lambros Kalikis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Fanis Stergiou fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mpizelokastritsa FC's protests and gave Fanis Stergiou a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mpizelokastritsa FC's Fanis Stergiou got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Lambros Kalikis came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Elimbos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lambros Kalikis couldn't finish the play. Dimitris Katsiabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kesanopoulos having to interfere. Giorgos Kesanopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spyros Kezdoglou in the 75th minute of the match. Fanis Stergiou got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute, Fanis Stergiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mpizelokastritsa FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sofoklis Iraklidis hit a great ball. Evaggelos Papanagiotou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lambros Kalikis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Takis Asimis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Spyros Kezdoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mpizelokastritsa FC and the Elimbos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Takis Asimis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaggelos Papanagiotou in the 91st minute of the match. Evaggelos Papanagiotou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Asimis having to interfere. During the 94th minute of the match Spyros Kezdoglou completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Spyros Kezdoglou a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Spyros Kezdoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Mpizelokastritsa FC's goalkeeper Takis Asimis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lambros Kalikis. The Mpizelokastritsa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Elimbos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
