Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Elimbos FC's Evaggelos Papanagiotou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elimbos FC's Giorgos Kesanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Dimopoulos in the 4th minute of play. The Larαnia fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Larαnia's Alexandros Dimopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lambros Kalikis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 10th playminute. Sakis Xidianakis came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Elimbos FC's Lambros Kalikis. But to his dismay, Lambros Kalikis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vassilis Evaggelliou walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Loukas Vezirgiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alexandros Dimopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kesanopoulos having to interfere. Paraskevas Siontis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgos Kesanopoulos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alexandros Dimopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larαnia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Dimopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kesanopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Elimbos FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Pavlos Papageorgas hit a great ball. Elimbos FC's Giorgos Kesanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaios Eleftheratos in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaios Eleftheratos to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Larαnia's goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Kalikis came free, but Sakis Xidianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Eleftheratos in the 58th minute of play forced Elimbos FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Kesanopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Evaggelos Papanagiotou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakis Xidianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakis Xidianakis came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elimbos FC's Evaggelos Papanagiotou. But to his dismay, Evaggelos Papanagiotou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Sakis Xidianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaggelos Papanagiotou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Larαnia got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Papathomas. In the 76th minute, Evaggelos Papanagiotou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Larαnia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Triantopoulos to maneuver through the defense. When Lambros Kalikis came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Elimbos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lambros Kalikis couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute of the match Giotis Papadimopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Elimbos FC's Lambros Kalikis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sakis Xidianakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 94 minutes into the match, Elimbos FC's Evaggelos Papanagiotou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakis Xidianakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandros Dimopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgos Kesanopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandros Dimopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Elimbos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
