Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Veloϊlion's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Katsiabis came free, but Juhani Eskelinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Takis Kopelis made a precise shot to the right of Juhani Eskelinen. Veloϊlion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Tilemachos Argyros with Dimitris Katsiabis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 9th minute, Dimitris Katsiabis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juhani Eskelinen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Juhani Eskelinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Katsiabis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Veloϊlion's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Stergiou came free, but Juhani Eskelinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mpizelokastritsa FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Takis Kopelis hit a great ball. Mpizelokastritsa FC's Takis Asimis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Spiliotopoulos in the 20th minute of play. Takis Asimis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Dimitris Katsiabis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Juhani Eskelinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Takis Asimis made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Veloϊlion getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Christos Rokkos hit a great ball. Fanis Stergiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Veloϊlion's Juhani Eskelinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takis Kopelis in the 38th minute of play. Panos Verginas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Veloϊlion defense, Spyros Kezdoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juhani Eskelinen. The Veloϊlion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juhani Eskelinen should have stopped the shot. If Sotiris Spiliotopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Spyros Kezdoglou made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Takis Kopelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, Mpizelokastritsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Kopelis to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Veloϊlion got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Jakue. In the 67th minute, Mpizelokastritsa FC's Spyros Kezdoglou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juhani Eskelinen. Juhani Eskelinen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. 72 minutes into the match, Veloϊlion's Apostolis Fanaras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Takis Asimis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juhani Eskelinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Stergiou in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Apostolis Fanaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veloϊlion's supporters rose to their feet, but Apostolis Fanaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takis Asimis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juhani Eskelinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Kopelis in the 80th minute of play. Takis Asimis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sotiris Spiliotopoulos's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Apostolis Fanaras came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Veloϊlion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apostolis Fanaras couldn't finish the play. Apostolis Fanaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Mpizelokastritsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos came free, but Takis Asimis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sotiris Spiliotopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veloϊlion's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotiris Spiliotopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mpizelokastritsa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
