Emmanouil Loukoumis's late challenge caught a KdWolfs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmanouil Loukoumis helped the player get up and apologised. Emmanouil Loukoumis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes in the game Marinos Kerveros got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vassilis Platakidis in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Achilleas Tzakos saved New Olympiacos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Stamatelatos in the 24th minute of play forced KdWolfs's goalkeeper Tasos Spetsarias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dimosthenis Zotalopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the New Olympiacos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimosthenis Zotalopoulos couldn't finish the play. Pipis Stamatelatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Themistoklis Tirovouniotis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KdWolfs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tasos Spetsarias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimosthenis Zotalopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dimosthenis Zotalopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tasos Spetsarias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes KdWolfs got a freekick which was hit by Argyris Stamatakis. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tasos Spetsarias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 58th minute, Lambros Bachramis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achilleas Tzakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themistoklis Tirovouniotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Achilleas Tzakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Platakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Platakidis in the 64th minute of play forced New Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Achilleas Tzakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stratos Atmatzidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Pipis Stamatelatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tasos Spetsarias made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dimosthenis Zotalopoulos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Platakidis in the 82nd minute of play forced New Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Achilleas Tzakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achilleas Tzakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vassilis Platakidis went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Vassilis Platakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
