Lazaros Tsivilikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Spiliotopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kyriakos Tsobanakis in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Veloϊlion's Christos Rokkos. Veloϊlion's attentive Babbis Sardelis managed to snatch the ball when Kyriakos Tsobanakis made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. If Apostolis Fanaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Seitan Asker's zone, Apostolis Fanaras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaros Tsivilikas came out of the goal and Apostolis Fanaras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Seitan Asker's goalkeeper Lazaros Tsivilikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Spiliotopoulos. A collision led to Veloϊlion getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Babbis Sardelis hit a great ball. When Kostas Violaris fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seitan Asker's protests and gave Kostas Violaris a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Seitan Asker got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Violaris. After a rather tough play, Seitan Asker's Konstantinos Dermitzakis got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Seitan Asker's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos came free, but Lazaros Tsivilikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veloϊlion's Sotiris Spiliotopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apostolis Fanaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Seitan Asker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Dermitzakis to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kostas Violaris made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Sotiris Spiliotopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lazaros Tsivilikas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, Seitan Asker's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos came free, but Lazaros Tsivilikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazaros Tsivilikas came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Veloϊlion's Apostolis Fanaras. But to his dismay, Apostolis Fanaras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 60 played minutes Seitan Asker got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Nekos. Lazaros Tsivilikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Fanaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostolis Fanaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Konstantinos Dermitzakis made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kyriakos Tsobanakis immediately put the ball in play. Sotiris Spiliotopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Tsivilikas having to interfere. Sotiris Spiliotopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lazaros Tsivilikas having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Apostolis Fanaras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veloϊlion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Sotiris Spiliotopoulos sped through Seitan Asker's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lazaros Tsivilikas. When Sotiris Spiliotopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Veloϊlion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Spiliotopoulos couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play Seitan Asker's Kostas Violaris was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Apostolis Fanaras's late challenge caught a Seitan Asker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apostolis Fanaras helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Veloϊlion fully deserved thier win.
