The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Kámpos's goalkeeper Leonidas Sakoulidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktoras Adamakoglou. A collision led to Kámpos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Themistoklis Daniilidis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takis Dermitzoglou in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonidas Sakoulidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viktoras Adamakoglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonidas Sakoulidis having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Kámpos's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Dermitzoglou came free, but Leonidas Sakoulidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Giorgos Poursanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kámpos's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgos Poursanidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panagiotis Kapataidakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alekos Moutsios hit a great ball. Panagiotis Kapataidakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Tsirigakis in the 29th minute of play. ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's Panagiotis Kapataidakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Poursanidis in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Menios Kamaroulias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Stefanos Tsirigakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Viktoras Adamakoglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Giorgos Poursanidis made the kick off in the second half. When Apostolis Iraklideas fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's protests and gave Apostolis Iraklideas a yellow card for diving instead. Apostolis Iraklideas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Stefanos Tsirigakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Kapataidakis having to interfere. If Stefanos Tsirigakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Poursanidis came free, but Panagiotis Kapataidakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Poursanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panagiotis Kapataidakis having to interfere. Apostolis Iraklideas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Giorgos Poursanidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panagiotis Kapataidakis was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 73 played minutes ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Chatzichristos. In the 80thth minute of the game Giorgos Poursanidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's Panagiotis Kapataidakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kámpos's goalkeeper Leonidas Sakoulidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostolos Kouvarakis hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Adamakoglou in the 90th minute of play forced Kámpos's goalkeeper Leonidas Sakoulidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefanos Tsirigakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kámpos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
