Koutsodimos's Charilaos Kaplatzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziioannou Louboutis in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as BesiktasCarsi's Chatziioannou Louboutis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charilaos Kaplatzis. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Nikos Labiris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Voitsidis was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Stamatis Koronakis charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stamatis Koronakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes BesiktasCarsi got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Koronakis. When Loukianos Rozaklis fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BesiktasCarsi's protests and gave Loukianos Rozaklis a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes BesiktasCarsi got a freekick which was hit by Loukianos Rozaklis. After recieving a nice pass, Koutsodimos's Eustratios Tassis tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to BesiktasCarsi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Loukianos Rozaklis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktoras Kaladamis during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Koutsodimos booed when BesiktasCarsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktoras Kaladamis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Koutsodimos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nikos Labiris hit a great ball. Nikos Labiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Voitsidis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stratos Antonatos made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Labiris in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Voitsidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lakis Seremetis struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dimitris Voitsidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koutsodimos. Eustratios Tassis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimitris Voitsidis. BesiktasCarsi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th match minute, BesiktasCarsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Kalafatakis to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, BesiktasCarsi's Dimitris Voitsidis got control of the ball when Eustratios Tassis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikos Labiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Voitsidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Labiris in the 73rd minute of play. Dimitris Voitsidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Labiris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Voitsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Labiris, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dimitris Voitsidis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lakis Seremetis sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Koutsodimos were awarded a corner. Eustratios Tassis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Koutsodimos's corner Eustratios Tassis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dimitris Voitsidis quite easily take care of the ball. BesiktasCarsi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
