The referee ignored Eptalofos Eagle FC's protests and gave Chatziioannou Antoniou a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Koutsodimos booed when Eptalofos Eagle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziioannou Antoniou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikos Labiris was the one to do the kick off. Markos Petkaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koutsodimos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakis Seremetis in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markos Petkaris saved Eptalofos Eagle FC from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Nikos Labiris in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Koutsodimos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
