Iraklis's Stefanos Asimakopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Iraklis from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Iraklis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vradéton FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Stefanos Asimakopoulos, was totally fooled by Vradéton FC's Daniil Dokos, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Giannis Kontodimopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd play minute Giannis Kontodimopoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stefanos Asimakopoulos. 3-1. 25 minutes into the game, Grigoris Karageorgopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Diogenis Ikonomou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petros Zabetas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 37th minute, Petros Zabetas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefanos Asimakopoulos. The goal made the score 5-2. In the 41st match minute, Vradéton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Stratis to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Kontodimopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Stefanos Asimakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Iraklis getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Grigoris Karageorgopoulos hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Kontodimopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Zabetas in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefanos Asimakopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniil Dokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Vradéton FC's Giannis Kontodimopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefanos Asimakopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. After having played for 70 minutes, Giannis Kontodimopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vradéton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Kontodimopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Vradéton FC booed when Iraklis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustratios Vdelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Zabetas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Asimakopoulos having to make a save. 74 minutes into the game, Vradéton FC's Miltos Marketis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefanos Asimakopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. After a defensive mix-up in Iraklis's zone, Giannis Kontodimopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Asimakopoulos came out of the goal and Giannis Kontodimopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Kontodimopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Petros Zabetas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefanos Asimakopoulos. Iraklis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petros Zabetas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. In the 91st match minute, Iraklis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kourtis to maneuver through the defense. Vradéton FC's Diogenis Ikonomou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Karageorgopoulos in the 94th minute of play. Vradéton FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
