Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 100) Stratos Bakiris started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, Iraklis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Fasolis to maneuver through the defense. Stefanos Asimakopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vrasidas Toursounidis's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Vrasidas Toursounidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiakos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Giannis Kalaitzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Stefanos Asimakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vrasidas Toursounidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Iraklis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimos Bitoulas to maneuver through the defense. Grigoris Karageorgopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Rozaklis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Olympiakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Kalketenidis to maneuver through the defense. Stratos Bakiris charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stratos Bakiris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stefanos Asimakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Kalaitzidis in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Olympiakos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vrasidas Toursounidis was the one to do the kick off. Stefanos Asimakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Tsichlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Vrasidas Toursounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Asimakopoulos having to interfere. Giannis Kalaitzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Stefanos Asimakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vrasidas Toursounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Asimakopoulos having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Nikolas Stagos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiakos FC and the Iraklis players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olympiakos FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nikolas Stagos hit a great ball. Stratos Bakiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Rozaklis having to interfere. Stamatis Rozaklis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Karageorgopoulos in the 71st minute of the match. Giannis Kalaitzidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Kalaitzidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Stefanos Asimakopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Loukianos Tsichlas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Asimakopoulos having to make a save. Olympiakos FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Iraklis to leave the ground with a draw.
