Vaios Kostenoglou struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Konstantinos Thomakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.O. Kavalas. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anthimos Charalambidis sped through Panιrion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Konstantinos Thomakis. After having played for 15 minutes, Christos Sarris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panιrion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Sarris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthimos Charalambidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Konstantinos Thomakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orestis Eleftheratos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Thomakis having to interfere. Christos Sarris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Vaios Trigonakis made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Manos Pilafis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaios Trigonakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoros Koulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in A.O. Kavalas's zone, Isidoros Koulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaios Trigonakis came out of the goal and Isidoros Koulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Babbis Giannoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.O. Kavalas's supporters rose to their feet, but Babbis Giannoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Thomakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Babbis Giannoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Konstantinos Thomakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantinos Thomakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthimos Charalambidis went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Panιrion's Sokratis Samaratos got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Panιrion's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Giannoglou came free, but Konstantinos Thomakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Panιrion's zone, Orestis Eleftheratos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinos Thomakis came out of the goal and Orestis Eleftheratos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Babbis Giannoglou struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Konstantinos Thomakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.O. Kavalas. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Isidoros Koulos made the kick off in the second half. Vaios Trigonakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Koulos in the 52nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Panιrion's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Charalambidis came free, but Konstantinos Thomakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panιrion's goalkeeper Konstantinos Thomakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Isidoros Koulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panιrion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoros Koulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaios Trigonakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Koulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Panιrion got a corner. A.O. Kavalas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolis Sotirakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Panιrion's corner Tolis Sotirakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaios Trigonakis quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to A.O. Kavalas getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vaios Kostenoglou hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes, A.O. Kavalas's Koulis Providas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konstantinos Thomakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.O. Kavalas reached it. When the match was over A.O. Kavalas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panιrion throughout the match.
