TALIOURIDES's Zisis Lilis got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitris Irinakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zisis Lilis in the 4th minute of play. Errikos Tsaousidis hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zisis Lilis in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Irinakis saved FC Attiki from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Stefanos Loukopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dionysis Stamatakos, 1-0. Dimitris Irinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zisis Lilis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thomas Kiassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dionysis Stamatakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A well placed Stefanos Loukopoulos short distance shot in the 25th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 29 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Kanetis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Irinakis. FC Attiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyriakos Kanetis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, TALIOURIDES's Dionysis Stamatakos got control of the ball when Thomas Kiassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Attiki booed when TALIOURIDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Kortzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes TALIOURIDES got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Stratigos. In the 40th minute, Thomas Kiassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Attiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Dimitris Irinakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zisis Lilis in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefanos Loukopoulos to make the kick off. Kyriakos Kanetis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Irinakis having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Zisis Lilis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dimitris Irinakis, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, FC Attiki's Dimitris Irinakis got control of the ball when Kyriakos Kanetis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zisis Lilis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Apostolis Sakalis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitris Irinakis skillfully saved the ball.
