After 13 minutes, Fotis Papaggelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ and the A.O. Kavalas players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anthimos Charalambidis sped through ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dimitris Spazopodis. Vaios Trigonakis came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ's Fondas Kezdoglou. But to his dismay, Fondas Kezdoglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vaios Trigonakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telis Thomopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Anthimos Charalambidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ's Dimitris Spazopodis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Giannoglou in the 37th minute of play. Dimitris Spazopodis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Giannoglou in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Babbis Giannoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Spazopodis was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the game, Anthimos Charalambidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dimitris Spazopodis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fondas Kezdoglou hit a great ball. Babbis Giannoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Spazopodis having to interfere. When Babbis Giannoglou came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the A.O. Kavalas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Giannoglou couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Telis Thomopoulos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaios Trigonakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, A.O. Kavalas's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Thomopoulos came free, but Vaios Trigonakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orestis Eleftheratos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Telis Thomopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vaios Trigonakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Spazopodis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthimos Charalambidis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Babbis Giannoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.O. Kavalas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Giannoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telis Thomopoulos in the 80th minute of play forced A.O. Kavalas's goalkeeper Vaios Trigonakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fondas Kezdoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaios Trigonakis having to interfere. Telis Thomopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vaios Trigonakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fondas Kezdoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaios Trigonakis having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Anthimos Charalambidis had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukianos Kyriakopoulos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 92 minutes into the game, one of ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave A.O. Kavalas a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Argyris Kanellidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ΠΡΟΠΟΝΤΙΣ Ν.ΜΑΡΜΑΡΑ's Dimitris Spazopodis. 1-3. Vaios Trigonakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fondas Kezdoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.O. Kavalas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
