Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) DownTown Boys's Giannis Geronimidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Thomas Kakavos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Giannis Geronimidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DownTown Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Geronimidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Geronimidis took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adamantios Kabourakos. Adamantios Kabourakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adamantios Kabourakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaros Dimitratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Kakavos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renos Kechagias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Potαmi's Thomas Kakavos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adamantios Kabourakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Geronimidis in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Potαmi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menelaos Pliatsikas to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Geronimidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Potαmi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Demis Kavafis hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Potαmi got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Kakavos. Thomas Kakavos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Renos Kechagias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Papadamakis during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DownTown Boys's Stratos Papadamakis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Errikos Lebesis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Geronimidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adamantios Kabourakos having to interfere.

When Errikos Lebesis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Potαmi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Errikos Lebesis couldn't finish the play. Lazaros Dimitratos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adamantios Kabourakos having to interfere. Potαmi's Adamantios Kabourakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Geronimidis in the 58th minute of play. Stefanos Dedes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Errikos Lebesis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Geronimidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Adamantios Kabourakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Geronimidis in the 70th minute of play forced Potαmi's goalkeeper Adamantios Kabourakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renos Kechagias came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Potαmi's Thomas Kakavos. But to his dismay, Thomas Kakavos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lazaros Dimitratos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Adamantios Kabourakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Kakavos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renos Kechagias having to interfere. DownTown Boys were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
