The Apollon Apollonias players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Greens United were winning 1-2.

In the 95th minute, Thanasis Kyriazis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Sioufas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Greens United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
