Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Kakavos started the match with the kick off. Thomas Kakavos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Kakavos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes, Zαrka's Pavlos Sapoutzakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adamantios Kabourakos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zαrka reached it. Konstantinos Ouzounidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Zαrka got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Daras. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Lagonidis during the 18th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentinos Poulopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adamantios Kabourakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestoras Giannakoglou in the 23rd minute of the match. Errikos Lebesis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentinos Poulopoulos having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Valentinos Poulopoulos, was totally fooled by Potαmi's Demis Kavafis, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stefanos Dedes charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefanos Dedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Potαmi got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Dedes. If Konstantinos Ouzounidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Ouzounidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestoras Giannakoglou scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adamantios Kabourakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nestoras Giannakoglou made the kick off in the second half. Potαmi's Adamantios Kabourakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Potαmi from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Potαmi's Errikos Lebesis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentinos Poulopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Errikos Lebesis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zαrka's Valentinos Poulopoulos. Valentinos Poulopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 played minutes Zαrka got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Lagonidis. After 71 minutes of play, Potαmi's Thomas Kakavos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentinos Poulopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Nestoras Giannakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potαmi's goalkeeper Adamantios Kabourakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Menelaos Pliatsikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentinos Poulopoulos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Kakavos in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentinos Poulopoulos saved Zαrka from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantinos Ouzounidis got free with Adamantios Kabourakos in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zαrka's Nestoras Giannakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nestoras Giannakoglou came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Zαrka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestoras Giannakoglou couldn't finish the play.
