Supernova's Andreas Krevetzakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yellow Blackers. Themis Karkantos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Makrikostas having to interfere. Supernova's Vassilis Makrikostas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zisis Malliaros in the 35th minute of play. Evaggelos Vangelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valerios Koubaroulis having to interfere. Andreas Krevetzakis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Supernova's Valerios Stavrakos got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaggelos Vangelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandros Melogiannis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Valerios Koubaroulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasos Papageorgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Yellow Blackers's Dimitris Tsardikos got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vassilis Makrikostas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Chatzoulis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Supernova's Alexandros Melogiannis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valerios Koubaroulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 95 minutes into the match, Yellow Blackers's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Papageorgopoulos came free, but Valerios Koubaroulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
