The audience thought a goal was coming when Menelaos Tsobanakis got free with Alexandros Koutsilas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92ndth minute of the game Dimitris Stavratos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Αrdhosos FC's Nontas Asimoulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Αrdhosos FC's Menelaos Tsobanakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandros Koutsilas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dimosthenis Kouroupetsoglou's late challenge caught a Αrdhosos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
