The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.S.C. Napoli. The attack was good, but when Stamatis Savouridis in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Skνathos BC's Pavlos Meletopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Savouridis in the 11th minute of play. Takis Krezias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Loubadiaris in the 12th minute of play. When Apostolos Pedoulakis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skνathos BC's protests and gave Apostolos Pedoulakis a yellow card for diving instead. Apostolos Pedoulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Theofilos Argyriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, S.S.C. Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Tsirogiannis came free, but Takis Krezias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Skνathos BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Pedoulakis to maneuver through the defense. Pavlos Meletopoulos made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Thanos Zablakos sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, S.S.C. Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soulis Vazakas to maneuver through the defense. Takis Krezias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marios Loubadiaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. S.S.C. Napoli's Takis Krezias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktoras Tsirogiannis in the 38th minute of play. Takis Krezias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Loubadiaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to S.S.C. Napoli getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Theofilos Argyriou hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Savouridis in the 46th minute of play forced Skνathos BC's goalkeeper Pavlos Meletopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Kyriakos Karoubalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute, Christos Pavlakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktoras Tsirogiannis to make the kick off. Takis Krezias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christos Pavlakoglou. 58 minutes into the game, Marios Loubadiaris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skνathos BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. Napoli the free kick. If Theofilos Kostikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aris Palavakis charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aris Palavakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aris Palavakis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Theofilos Argyriou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.S.C. Napoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theofilos Argyriou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Skνathos BC's Takis Krezias threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viktoras Tsirogiannis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Takis Krezias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Tsirogiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Pedoulakis in the 78th minute of play forced S.S.C. Napoli's goalkeeper Takis Krezias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takis Krezias was a little too slow when Aris Palavakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 90th minute, Viktoras Tsirogiannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktoras Tsirogiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Krezias having to interfere. Takis Krezias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Christos Pavlakoglou. Thanos Zablakos kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Skνathos BC's Christos Pavlakoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The S.S.C. Napoli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Skνathos BC's performance. The match ended with a win for Skνathos BC.
