Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Skνathos BC's Viktoras Tsirogiannis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Aris Trontzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Meletopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavlos Meletopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Trontzos in the 10th minute of the match. Chatziioannou Goundoulakis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chatziioannou Goundoulakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skνathos BC booed when Elatokhσri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziioannou Goundoulakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skνathos BC's Christos Pavlakoglou couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elatokhσri. In the 19th minute, Elatokhσri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marios Loubadiaris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniil Bakalopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Tsirogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Elatokhσri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efthimis Patselas to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Aris Palavakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skνathos BC and the Elatokhσri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniil Bakalopoulos made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marios Loubadiaris sent off a good shot on target. Skνathos BC's Pavlos Meletopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkinoos Kabourakis in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Elatokhσri were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alkinoos Kabourakis made the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Viktoras Tsirogiannis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Skνathos BC's Christos Pavlakoglou got a free kick in the 66th minute. Daniil Bakalopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Tsirogiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Elatokhσri's Daniil Bakalopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Loubadiaris in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Marios Loubadiaris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elatokhσri's Daniil Bakalopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marios Loubadiaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniil Bakalopoulos having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Miltos Panou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Trifon Kouveliotis from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Pavlos Meletopoulos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elatokhσri's Daniil Bakalopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Loubadiaris in the 94th minute of play. If Marios Loubadiaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
