Αrdhosos FC's Menelaos Tsobanakis got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandros Melogiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Αrdhosos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaggelos Vangelis came free, but Nontas Asimoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Krevetzakis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Αrdhosos FC were awarded a corner. Eugenios Proestos went to the cornerflag to take it. Achilleas Voulgarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Makrikostas having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Supernova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Melogiannis. If Menelaos Tsobanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menelaos Tsobanakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valerios Kanavidis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vassilis Makrikostas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Αrdhosos FC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Achilleas Voulgarakis to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Supernova's Evaggelos Vangelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nontas Asimoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Supernova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Supernova's Valerios Stavrakos got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nontas Asimoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Papageorgopoulos in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Valerios Kanavidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Supernova's Vassilis Makrikostas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Voulgarakis in the 86th minute of play. Vassilis Makrikostas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achilleas Voulgarakis in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Supernova's zone, Achilleas Voulgarakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Makrikostas came out of the goal and Achilleas Voulgarakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Αrdhosos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Supernova had won, even though Αrdhosos FC had held more of the ball.
