After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pastida Fc! Sakis Martinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Stamatakos having to interfere. Valentinos Chaniotakis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Pastida Fc booed when Palio Kavalas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paschalis Spyridakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastida Fc's Dimitris Argyrakos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palio Kavalas FC. Pavlos Stamatakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Martinos in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Pastida Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Martinos came free, but Pavlos Stamatakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Martinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pavlos Stamatakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastida Fc's Ignatios Mantzouranas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ilias Kakaris but with some difficulty. Telis Raptakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Palio Kavalas FC's Fokas Ritsos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sakis Martinos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pavlos Stamatakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palio Kavalas FC. Sakis Martinos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavlos Stamatakos having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trifon Bogris made a kick off. Telis Raptakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Pavlos Stamatakos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sakis Martinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilias Kakaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trifon Bogris, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Trifon Bogris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ilias Kakaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Palio Kavalas FC got a freekick which was hit by Minas Koulakiotis. After 78 minutes, Minas Koulakiotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palio Kavalas FC and the Pastida Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Minas Koulakiotis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Pastida Fc's Dimitris Argyrakos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palio Kavalas FC. If Sakis Martinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakis Martinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pavlos Stamatakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trifon Bogris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
