After a defensive mix-up in Stavraki FC's zone, Manos Serelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos came out of the goal and Manos Serelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stavraki FC's Eustratios Alexidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eutichios Potamianos. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Sakis Tselekis hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eustratios Alexidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eutichios Potamianos having to interfere. Stavraki FC's Nestoras Chiotis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Manos Serelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Manos Serelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theofanis Psichogiopoulos. Stavraki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manos Serelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Iason Tsirilidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panerythraikos AO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stavraki FC the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Panerythraikos AO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iason Tsirilidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Stavraki FC got a corner. Panerythraikos AO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitris Siontis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Stavraki FC's Dimitris Siontis to fire away a dangerous shot which Eutichios Potamianos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nestoras Chiotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eutichios Potamianos having to interfere. Eustratios Alexidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotos Patsavouras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Stavraki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasios Gavriilidis to maneuver through the defense. Sotos Patsavouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theofanis Psichogiopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Manos Serelis in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theofanis Psichogiopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manos Serelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Psichogiopoulos having to interfere. Sotos Patsavouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustratios Alexidis in the 67th minute of play forced Panerythraikos AO's goalkeeper Eutichios Potamianos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Panerythraikos AO's Eustratios Soufridis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Patsavouras in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Sotos Patsavouras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panerythraikos AO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotos Patsavouras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eutichios Potamianos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestoras Chiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Stavraki FC's goalkeeper Theofanis Psichogiopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manos Serelis. Stavraki FC's Theofanis Psichogiopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotos Patsavouras in the 85th minute of play. Sotos Patsavouras struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panerythraikos AO. Eutichios Potamianos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestoras Chiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panerythraikos AO's Grigoris Plexidas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Theofanis Psichogiopoulos but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandros Charalambakis during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandros Charalambakis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Theofanis Psichogiopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotos Patsavouras in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
