Takis Saraliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute, one of ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ. Paschalis Kommatias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Koulis Kioutsoukalis. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marios Schinas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A.E.
