If Loukianos Spiliotopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoforos Papafotoulis got free with Eutichios Potamianos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Panerythraikos AO's Manos Serelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Markos Milonopoulos. That made the score 0-1 after 57 minutes of play. Manos Serelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christoforos Papafotoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eutichios Potamianos having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Panerythraikos AO's Sotos Patsavouras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markos Milonopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Sotos Patsavouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Milonopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
