Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lakis Papasouzas started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Lakis Papasouzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koulis Kioutsoukalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Likσvi's Giannis Stamatelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Schinas in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's goal looked a bit too open when Lakis Papasouzas came free, but Koulis Kioutsoukalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyriakos Sfakianakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Stamatelatos having to interfere. In the 12th minute Marios Schinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Stamatelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Likσvi's Lakis Papasouzas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Takis Saraliotis could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Giannis Stamatelatos however easily saved by the left post. Akis Kriaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Koulis Kioutsoukalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's zone, Lakis Papasouzas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koulis Kioutsoukalis came out of the goal and Lakis Papasouzas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marinos Karagiorgos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Alexis Trechalas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koulis Kioutsoukalis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Akis Kriaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Likσvi's supporters rose to their feet, but Akis Kriaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koulis Kioutsoukalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After recieving a nice pass, Likσvi's Kleon Sofianos tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Koulis Kioutsoukalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Kriaras in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Takis Saraliotis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giannis Stamatelatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's zone, Lakis Papasouzas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koulis Kioutsoukalis came out of the goal and Lakis Papasouzas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Likσvi booed when ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Aggelakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Lakis Papasouzas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marios Schinas to strike the kick off in the second half. Kyriakos Sfakianakis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Likσvi's Kleon Sofianos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ. In the 67th minute Marios Schinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Stamatelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marios Schinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Stamatelatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Schinas in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Chrisostomos Georgakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Stamatelatos came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Marios Schinas. But to his dismay, Marios Schinas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Takis Saraliotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
