Vostina BC's Errikos Anagnostou got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iakovos Irinopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigoris Pavlakos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Panos Bakogiannopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vostina BC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Irinopoulos in the 19th minute of play forced AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Grigoris Pavlakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errikos Anagnostou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Pavlakos having to interfere. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's Kyriakos Kamouridis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vostina BC. Grigoris Pavlakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakovos Irinopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Vostina BC's Errikos Anagnostou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grigoris Pavlakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Errikos Anagnostou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Iakovos Irinopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vostina BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Errikos Anagnostou in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoris Pavlakos saved AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ from getting behind. Grigoris Pavlakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Errikos Anagnostou in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panos Bakogiannopoulos to make the kick off. Grigoris Pavlakos made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Stamatis Mantouvalos sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentinos Violidis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoris Pavlakos saved AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ from getting behind. 0-4 became the score in the 59th minute when Iakovos Irinopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Errikos Anagnostou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vostina BC were furious when Lambis Katsimichas was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vostina BC! Vostina BC:s Apostolis Kassianidis showed great skill when he stopped Kyriakos Kamouridis:s penalty. In the 75th minute Aimilios Zisimatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Kassianidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Bakogiannopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iakovos Irinopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Grigoris Pavlakos made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Stamatis Mantouvalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vostina BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stamatis Mantouvalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoris Pavlakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes Vostina BC got a freekick which was hit by Valentinos Violidis. Iakovos Irinopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Grigoris Pavlakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iakovos Irinopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Grigoris Pavlakos made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Grigoris Pavlakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Papaloukas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aimilios Zisimatos in the 95th minute of play forced Vostina BC's goalkeeper Apostolis Kassianidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stamatis Mantouvalos charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stamatis Mantouvalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vostina BC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
