Dorotheos Kaklamanakos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trifon Peridis. Xerocabos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fanari FC's Periklis Kalamatas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Malezas in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Eutichios Papadamoulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Periklis Kalamatas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Periklis Kalamatas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Xerocabos F.C. booed when Fanari FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Vrettos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexis Malezas scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Periklis Kalamatas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trifon Peridis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adamantios Sapounelis in the 32nd minute. Alexis Malezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Kalamatas having to interfere. Alexis Malezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Periklis Kalamatas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Xerocabos F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Xerocabos F.C.'s Alexis Malezas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antonis Nikolatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Kalamatas having to interfere. Eutichios Papadamoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Kalamatas having to interfere. Alexis Malezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Chatzopoulos in the 63rd minute of play forced Xerocabos F.C.'s goalkeeper Trifon Peridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifon Vrettos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Eutichios Papadamoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eutichios Papadamoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adamantios Sapounelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eutichios Papadamoulis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Xerocabos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Papadamoulis couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Alexis Malezas from a close distance when the talented Periklis Kalamatas managed to make a qualified save. Fanari FC's players were relieved. 88 minutes into the game, Eutichios Papadamoulis lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Periklis Kalamatas. After a defensive mix-up in Fanari FC's zone, Alexis Malezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Periklis Kalamatas came out of the goal and Alexis Malezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fanari FC's Periklis Kalamatas got control of the ball when Alexis Malezas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Fanari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eutichios Papadamoulis came free, but Periklis Kalamatas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xerocabos F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
