Stamatis Mantouvalos kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. A hard shot 8 in the game by Iakovos Irinopoulos from a close distance when the talented Stratos Kalifoulis managed to make a qualified save. Amfiali FC's players were relieved. In the 8th match minute, Amfiali FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Krontiras to maneuver through the defense. Vostina BC's Iakovos Irinopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iakovos Irinopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stratos Kalifoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iakovos Irinopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Amfiali FC's zone, Errikos Anagnostou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Kalifoulis came out of the goal and Errikos Anagnostou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vostina BC's Errikos Anagnostou got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iakovos Irinopoulos in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stratos Kalifoulis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iakovos Irinopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Stratos Kalifoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigoris Xanthopoulos to make the kick off. Errikos Anagnostou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Iakovos Irinopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Errikos Anagnostou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stratos Kalifoulis. Amfiali FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Errikos Anagnostou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Stratos Kalifoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Irinopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Iakovos Irinopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errikos Anagnostou in the 86th minute of play forced Amfiali FC's goalkeeper Stratos Kalifoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
