In the 29thth minute of the game Iraklis Piperoglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Καππαδοκία F.C's Kostas Kaliris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Καππαδοκία F.C's Nikos Kanatas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nikos Kanatas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilias Tataridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Nikos Kanatas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacharias Savouridis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikos Kanatas to make the kick off. Καππαδοκία F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Kanatas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
