Zacharias Savouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Chatzopoulos in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Fanari FC got a freekick which was hit by Marios Malliaros. 11 minutes into the match, Xerólakkos's goal looked a bit too open when Ntinos Chatzopoulos came free, but Zacharias Savouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Fanari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Athanasakis came free, but Periklis Kalamatas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Xerólakkos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlassis Sapanis to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Athanasakis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Periklis Kalamatas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xerólakkos. Ntinos Chatzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacharias Savouridis having to interfere. Periklis Kalamatas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iraklis Piperoglou in the 34th minute. Zacharias Savouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Chatzopoulos in the 36th minute of the match. Periklis Kalamatas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Athanasakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xerólakkos's Zacharias Savouridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ntinos Chatzopoulos in the 43rd minute of play. Iraklis Piperoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Periklis Kalamatas made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonis Athanasakis made a kick off. If Antonis Athanasakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Fanari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Malliaros to maneuver through the defense. Iraklis Piperoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Periklis Kalamatas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraklis Piperoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Periklis Kalamatas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Xerólakkos's Antonis Athanasakis got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iraklis Piperoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacharias Savouridis made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Adamantios Sapounelis sent off a good shot on target. If Antonis Athanasakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fanari FC's Adamantios Sapounelis got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Trifon Vrettos fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fanari FC's protests and gave Trifon Vrettos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Trifon Vrettos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
