Stratos Kalifoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Nikos Pelekoudis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alketas Paxinos, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Amfiali FC's goalkeeper Stratos Kalifoulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Amfiali FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Karakatsanis. Nikitas Zolotas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Kalifoulis having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stratos Kalifoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Amfiali FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Krontiras to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amfiali FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manos Antoniadis was slow to take the kick. During this time Iliσfoton's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Manos Antoniadis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stratos Kalifoulis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nikitas Zolotas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amfiali FC's Stratos Kalifoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Savvakos in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Xanthopoulos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantinos Trontzos saved Iliσfoton from getting behind. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amfiali FC's goalkeeper Stratos Kalifoulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Iliσfoton's Apostolis Vrasidas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Grigoris Xanthopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Kourouklis during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Amfiali FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Kourouklis to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Kostas Savvakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Kalifoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amfiali FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigoris Xanthopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Trontzos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Xanthopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Trontzos having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Amfiali FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
