Spectators: 6863 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1863, VIP seats: 0) Aggelos Krasopoulos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Charis Baloukos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefanos Tzanetakos's late challenge caught a Tsangarσpoulon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefanos Tzanetakos helped the player get up and apologised. Kalιnji:s Konstantinos Koutsospyros showed great skill when he stopped Savas Karoubalis:s penalty. 11 minutes into the match, Kalιnji's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Krasopoulos came free, but Konstantinos Koutsospyros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Theofanis Mantzios put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Koutsospyros. Konstantinos Koutsospyros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Krasopoulos in the 15th minute of play. Kalιnji's Konstantinos Koutsospyros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Parlapipas in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Tsangarσpoulon booed when Kalιnji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Bouzoukis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalιnji's Konstantinos Koutsospyros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theofanis Mantzios in the 22nd minute of play. Konstantinos Koutsospyros came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Tsangarσpoulon's Aggelos Krasopoulos. But to his dismay, Aggelos Krasopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Kalιnji getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Babbis Kazatzis hit a great ball. When Tsangarσpoulon's Aggelos Krasopoulos in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalιnji's goalie prevented a goal. Theofanis Mantzios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theofanis Mantzios in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantinos Koutsospyros saved Kalιnji from getting behind. Nontas Pintzopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nontas Pintzopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Konstantinos Koutsospyros went to the wrong direction when Savas Karoubalis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tasos Giannakoulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charis Baloukos's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Konstantinos Koutsospyros made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Theofanis Mantzios sent off a good shot on target. When Theofanis Mantzios came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tsangarσpoulon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theofanis Mantzios couldn't finish the play. Theofanis Mantzios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Konstantinos Koutsospyros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Konstantinos Koutsospyros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Krasopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes, Apostolos Parlapipas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tsangarσpoulon and the Kalιnji players grew even worse after the yellow card. Konstantinos Koutsospyros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Krasopoulos in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Kalιnji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Bourouselos to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miltos Velidakis during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
