With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Panagiotopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes of play, Vιrga FC's Fondas Gitkos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Panagiotopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 14th minute of play forced Balaskaíika asFC's goalkeeper Thomas Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Iosif Pappas made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Panagiotopoulos. Balaskaíika asFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Iraklis Prionas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Petros Chrisochoidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 45th minute of play forced Balaskaíika asFC's goalkeeper Thomas Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragiskos Xifaras kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tolis Vrachopoulos made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Balaskaíika asFC's Thomas Panagiotopoulos got control of the ball when Iosif Pappas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fondas Gitkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Thomas Panagiotopoulos made a huge save. The supporters of Vιrga FC booed when Balaskaíika asFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fragiskos Xifaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odysseas Giotos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Thomas Panagiotopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vιrga FC. Thomas Panagiotopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 85th minute. Petros Chrisochoidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraklis Prionas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseas Giotos in the 90th minute of play forced Balaskaíika asFC's goalkeeper Thomas Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Balaskaíika asFC defense, Fondas Gitkos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Panagiotopoulos. The Balaskaíika asFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Panagiotopoulos should have stopped the shot. When Tolis Vrachopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Balaskaíika asFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolis Vrachopoulos couldn't finish the play. Vιrga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
