Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christodoulos Tsouknidas during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Makríndos BC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Christodoulos Tsouknidas hit a great ball. Thalis Karpazidis made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Timos Xenopoulos however managed to control. After 8 played minutes Selν FCasd got a freekick which was hit by Fragiskos Sarantopoulos. If Argyris Karapialis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Makríndos BC got a freekick which was hit by Thalis Karpazidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fragiskos Papalexiou in the 16th minute of play forced Selν FCasd's goalkeeper Konstantinos Voulgaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fragiskos Papalexiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Makríndos BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fragiskos Papalexiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Voulgaridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Fragiskos Papalexiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makríndos BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fragiskos Papalexiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Minas Asimopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Selν FCasd's Spyros Tsitouras tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Spyros Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Makríndos BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Kasapoglou to maneuver through the defense. Argyris Karapialis, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chrisostomos Riganidis struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Konstantinos Voulgaridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makríndos BC. Dimos Kolevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Spyros Tsitouras in the 36th minute. Konstantinos Voulgaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fragiskos Papalexiou in the 38th minute of play. Dimos Kolevas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tasos Chatzoudis in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Selν FCasd got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Pilavas. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fragiskos Papalexiou was the one to do the kick off. Dimos Kolevas came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Selν FCasd's Argyris Karapialis. But to his dismay, Argyris Karapialis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Makríndos BC's zone, Argyris Karapialis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimos Kolevas came out of the goal and Argyris Karapialis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christodoulos Tsouknidas got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Spyros Tsitouras shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Argyris Karapialis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Anestis Drougas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Argyris Karapialis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selν FCasd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Argyris Karapialis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimos Kolevas having to interfere. When Fragiskos Sarantopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Selν FCasd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fragiskos Sarantopoulos couldn't finish the play. Dimos Kolevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tasos Chatzoudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Sfiggas struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dimos Kolevas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selν FCasd. After 92 played minutes Makríndos BC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Sifakis. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selν FCasd fully deserved thier win.
